~ Sixteen years ago I was pregnant with my third child. I was a single mom with two other children. Christie was with me throughout my pregnancy. On July 12th 1991 Kayla decided she was ready to enter the world. I drove myself to the hospital and I called Christie when I arrived, she was there - seemed like a Genie! She held my hand, rubbed my back and took photos of the entire birth. I was so grateful to have her there with me. Christie was more than my doula, she was my friend! ...Tammy
~ I want to encourage any woman who is pregnant to consider Christie to be your doula. She was my doula for all three of my son's births. She was there from the very beginning to the very end. Whether she was rubbing my back or sitting by my bedside letting me know when to expect the next contraction, she was right there. She was very attentive and supportive, she made me feel special. She also took many pictures and videos of my son's births that I will forever treasure. Christie took alot of pressure off of my husband. I found her to be exemplary in her professionalism, her sensitivity, and her genuine personal care. She definately made the whole process alot smoother. Christie is just a wonderful person and it meant alot that she was there with us. ~Vikki~

~ Christie was a very valuable part of the late pregnancy and birth of my second child.She possesses the best qualities of a mother, sister and friend, always staying professional and friendly.Once we arrived at the hospital Christie took care of me, allowing my husband to take care of our 3 year old daughter.She took pictures, asked the staff questions and most importantly helped me to stick as close to my birth plan as my health allowed.Even when my birth plan had to change she stayed very positive, supported my decisions and never left my side.When my mom arrived at the hospital, Christie encouraged her to be an active participant in the laboring and birth (my mom will be forever grateful).When it came time to deliver, Christie happily grabbed a camera as my husband stepped in and took an active role.Since the birth of my son, she has become a friend that will forever remain in my heart and in my life!I could not have asked for better labor and delivery support than what I received from Christie.If we have another child, Christie?s plane ticket is paid for!
